The Coaching Intensive
The Coaching Intensive is designed for folks who know their challenges with having hard conversations are deep rooted and show up in more areas of life than they’d like. Regardless of context or relationship you tend to avoid, overthink, rehearse every scenario but never move to action and are endlessly worried about saying the wrong thing or losing important relationships. This isn’t a way to live and it isn’t working for you. Learn more about how we can move you from stuck to action over 4-6 months by exploring the three phase coaching process below.
In phase one, clients learn to better identify what they think, feel, want, and need in real time rather than minimizing, avoiding, or overriding themselves. The focus is on increasing self-awareness, understanding personal avoidance patterns, and developing greater comfort with vulnerability and emotional honesty.
Identify the beliefs, history and internal narratives that make difficult conversations feel risky, unnecessary, or emotionally unsafe
Develop greater clarity around emotions, needs, boundaries, preferences, and relational values
Learn to distinguish between reality, assumptions, emotional reactions, and self-protective stories
Recognize patterns of withdrawal, over-accommodation, people-pleasing, or indirect communication
Begin practicing low-stakes moments of honesty, directness, and self-expression in everyday life
Phase One
Phase Two
Phase two focuses on building the practical skills required to navigate hard conversations with steadiness, clarity, and confidence. Clients learn how to communicate vulnerably while minimizing defensiveness and reactivity:
Learn frameworks for expressing feelings, concerns, needs, and requests in clear, grounded, and non-adversarial ways
Practice tolerating discomfort, awkwardness, misunderstanding without shutting down or retreating
Develop skills for initiating conversations earlier rather than waiting until frustration, distance, or resentment accumulates
Strengthen curiosity, emotional flexibility, and the ability to remain connected during moments of tension or uncertainty
Use role play, rehearsal, and real-world practice to build confidence in hard conversations
In the final phase, clients integrate these skills into their everyday relationships, communication style, and sense of identity. The emphasis shifts from learning to doing to help you become someone who can consistently engage with honesty, vulnerability, and clarity no matter how hard the conversation may be:
Apply communication and vulnerability skills to higher-stakes personal, relational, and professional conversations
Develop a personalized framework for navigating future hard conversations with greater clarity and self-trust
Strengthen alignment between personal values, communication habits, and the kinds of relationships you want to have
Leave the intensive with a customized “Hard Conversations Playbook” containing personalized tools, reminders, scripts, and guiding principles for continued growth
Phase Three
Let’s talk about it
Avoidance isn’t a solution. It’s time we start engaging.
